The Danville Conservation Club hosts a weekly air gun league in the clubhouse concurrently with the Youth Air Gun Program. Dates will be announced when the 2024 Youth Program is finalized. We will not have league night on the two Wednesdays scheduled for the club monthly meeting. All club members and their families are welcome.
The club will supply the air guns and pellets for the league. Rifles will be equipped with a scope but competitors may use iron sights if desired. Eye protection will be required in the clubhouse for all participants and spectators while the range is in operation. The club has a limited amount of safety glasses so participants are encouraged to bring their own eye protection. Personal air guns may be used by participants but must shoot at a velocity of less than 600fps and be inspected and approved by the League Staff before used on the range.
We will shoot 3 different events in the league and you may compete in as many of the events as you wish and as time allows. You may also shoot as many targets for each event as you like. Cost will be $1 per target. All your scores will be recorded and the best 5 scores in each event will be used to determine event winners at the end of the league. Depending on the number of competitors we will also have different classes for adults, juniors, men, and women.
We will shoot in relays of 15 minutes each. This allows time for sighter shots and shots for score.
Scope power for all rifle events will be limited to 4X magnification.
- Red Dot sights will be allowed in the pistol event.

Please come and join us for League night. It’s a good way to get out of the house for some shooting and a way to keep those shooting skills sharp during the winter. All skill levels are welcome and we will help anyone who needs some coaching.
