2021 Membership Renewal Notice!
It’s January 2021 and time to renew your membership at the Danville Conservation Club. There has been some confusion this year because we are also requiring all members to take a Range Safety Orientation Renewal Class. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem. In a normal year we would have the majority of the Membership through this class and their memberships renewed but this year we are dealing with Covid and that has made a mess of things. So let me explain how we are doing renewals this year so we can get everybody’s dues paid and their RSO Renewal Class completed. I’m going to break the renewal process into 2 parts.
1. Membership Dues and Renewal Form
In order to remain members of the Club we would like you to send in your 2021 dues payment and membership renewal form by January 31, 2021. You can get a renewal form on the club website at dccsafety.com. Once you have done that your membership is good until 2022. Don’t worry whether you have taken the RSO Renewal class yet or not. Go ahead and mail in the renewal form and your dues so we don’t drop you from the membership. Forms and dues can be mailed to:
Danville Conservation Club
855 Sycamore Lane
Danville, IN 46122
2. 2021 Range Safety Orientation Renewal Class
Once you’ve sent in your dues and renewal form and are paid up for 2021, then you can start working on getting your Range Safety Orientation Renewal Class completed. You’ll need to take this class before the club will issue you a new Range Card for 2021. We are offering the class in two ways. The first is an in person class we hold after the monthly business meeting. The second is an ONLINE version of the class you can take at home on your computer. The ONLINE Version of the class is not available yet. The presentation is done but we need to post it online and test it before we release it to the membership. We hope to have it up and running by mid-January 2021. When it is up and running then a link to the class and instructions how to use it will be emailed to the membership so you can take the class at home. Again you’ll need to take this class before the Club will issue you a new Range Card for 2021 but you don’t need this class to
pay your dues.
The Officers and Board Members at the Club know this has been a tough year for a lot of people. We’ve had to change the way we normally do things at the club this year and unfortunately some of these changes have taken more time than we would have liked. We appreciate the patience and understanding from the membership in a difficult year and hope and pray 2021 will be better.
