Membership benefits include use of the shooting range, archery field, discounted clubhouse rental, as well as fishing privileges on the private lake. Handguns, rifles (no full-auto, 50 BMG, or similar guns), muzzleloaders, and shotguns are welcome for target practice at our range. SLOW FIRE ONLY is allowed at DCC. We do not have skeet or trap shooting due to the proximity of our neighbors.
Membership in the Danville Conservation Club runs from January 1 to December 31. Please contact us with any questions at info@dccsafety.com.
Members must have their annual membership cards at all times while on the DCC property.
Members are expected to send in a renewal form with payment prior to the January meeting each year. Links to the forms are at the bottom of this page in .pdf format.
Membership dues are $200 per year ($100 for age 70 and older). New Members must also pay a $100 initiation fee which includes one (1) electronic gate card.
In 2015 ALL MEMBERS were required to take a Range Safety Orientation course detailing range safety, etiquette, and fishing rules. The RSO is required every three years. RSO course dates will be noted on the monthly calendar. Other times are by appointment only with a DCC Range Safety Officer. New members must take the course before they will be allowed access to the property and then every three years after that.
Shooting
The Danville Conservation Club sponsors a variety of shooting competitions that comply with the Clubs stringent range safety rules and regulations. Competitive shooting is fun for both the beginner and seasoned shooter while fostering firearms discipline and fellowship.
Fishing
The Danville Conservation Club offers its members and their families a beautiful lake stocked with bass, catfish, bluegills and crappie. Please comply with the Fishing Rules and Regulations.
